Next week will be held in Palazzo Braschi (Rome) the book launch of Eruzioni di carta. Quattro secoli di stampa sui vulcani | Buch-Ausbrüche. Vulkanisches in historischen Drucken aus vier Jahrhunderten, edited by Elisabetta Scirocco, Philine Helas, Golo Maurer, Domenico Cecere, Hanna Sophie Stegemann and Milena Viceconte (Naples, FedOA Press, 2024).

This publication, which is also available in open access version, complements the online exhibition held in 2022 at the Bibliotheca Hertziana - Max Planck Institute for Art History in collaboration with the ERC project DisComPoSE - University of Naples Federico II.

The volume will be introduced and discussed by Ilaria Miarelli Mariani, director of Musei Civici di Roma, Maria Gazzetti, former director of Casa di Goethe, Gabriella Catalano from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Elisabetta Scirocco and Golo Maurer from the Bibliotheca Hertziana – Max Planck Institute for Art History, and Domenico Cecere from the University of Naples Federico II. The authors of the introductory essays and catalogue entries will be present, including our VeLoCi post doc team member Milena Viceconte.
